A Couple of Christmas Cards

 Tricia said, 'A couple of the Christmas cards I've sent in to Great Ormond Street for the use of patients' families.'

'Both cards were made using stamps from a recent edition of Creative Stamping magazine.'

Tricia's String Art

 

Tricia said, 'I planned this out at a smaller size, then assembled a pattern which I used to prick the holes for this. For reference, the frame size is 16in by 24in, and I used Perle Cotton no. 8 in a range of colours.'

Tricia's Stamped Shoppers

 

Tricia said, 'I've decorated another couple of tote bags. I started by masking an area on the front, then stamping. Then, I added some background ink, and in the case of the beach huts, I then watercoloured the huts using Versacraft ink. Finally, I crocheted a lacy band which I stitched to the top of the bags.'

Tricia's Kangaroo Blanket

 

Tricia said, 'I finally finished the kangaroo blanket I've been working on since April. I did the first quarter quite quickly, but as it's gone on, I've struggled to keep going with it, but all 100 squares are done and stitched together!'

Tricia's Christmas Card

 

Tricia said, 'I've spent some time this past week trying to make a wintery scene for a Christmas card using the Lavinia Stamps techniques for making a scene. This is my fourth attempt! (There's another one on the back of that piece of card, but the less said about that, the better.) I finally got something I was happy to layer up. It's not perfect by any means, but I do like the effect of these cards.

Tricia said, 'I've been having a play with some Lavinia (and other) stamps and various background inky techniques recently, and these are the result.'

Tricia's Card

Tricia made this card for her son. The background was created with Brushos and stamping and the scrabble letters cut using a die set from Tonic Studios.

Adrienne said, 'Beginner cardmaking. This simple card took me a while today as I tried a few things that didn't work. The good thing though is that I learn with every card.'

Tricia's Key Holder and Flowers

Tricia said, 'Having changed our landline phone, I didn't have anywhere to hook my keys any more. We looked at what was available, but didn't like what we saw, so I decided to do something with a couple of Hobbycraft box frames. I had a little help with the support for the hooks from my husband, and stamped the background for both frames. The flowers are all hand-made using a variety of Susan Tierney-Coleman dies.'
