Adrienne's Foil Embossing

 

Adrienne made these cards by embossing heavy foil, and that's going to be our group project at our next meeting.

Decoupage

 Adrienne recently introduced us to decoupage - the art of decorating various objects with cut paper.

Adrienne had already completed a couple of projects which she showed for inspiration.

Nadi decorated a plant pot and a metal box.

Tricia decorated a couple of wooden boxes from The Works

We used a gesso base followed by some layers of acrylic paint before adding the paper. Tricia added some gilding polish later to give an 'antiqued' look to the end result.
