Some Recent Projects from Tricia

A card for a colleague who's leaving. I started with a pattern from Stitching Cards . I used Sulky varigated threads in shades of lilac and green. For the background, I cut a panel from a Tonic die set in grey, purple, and green and silver metallic card. I used the grey grid, then paper-pieced the other colours as you can see. It took ages, I must admit - the paper piecing, rather than the stitching, to be honest!

A card I made for a design team challenge. I started with an inky background and added some further shading with Pan Pastel. Stamps are Lavinia, and I completed the image with Posca and glitter pens. The background has been both dry- and heat-embossed.

And a framed flower arrangement that I want to use as a 'place holder' for some blackwork that I haven't even started yet. (It will be paired with another blackwork project which has been completed.) The flowers are freesia made with Susan's Garden die and card coloured with Promarkers and Pan Pastel, and the background was created using a mix of Distress Oxide inks.
