Inky Blending and Masking
Last year, we did a session on inky blending, and the group wanted to do a similar session this term. We used Distress Inks for backgrounds, stencils for texture, stamps stamped with Versafine Clair ink for focal points. Stencils are from Clarity, Creative Expressions, Crafter's Companion, and Lavinia and stamps from Lavinia, Inkylicious, Woodware, and Spellbinders. Masks were die cut or torn copy paper.

Tissue Paper Flowers
Due to the worsening situation with regards to Covid, we have decided to revert to Skype meetings for the time being. To try to make our Skype get togethers a bit more interesting, we're going to try to suggest projects we can all do during and after the call. This is harder than doing things during a face-to-face meeting, as it's hard to see the screen detail during a call, and we can't easily share equipment and supplies. So, the first project was to try to make tissue paper flowers.
These can be made with or without a stem depending on the intended use, and are surprisingly effective as you will see from the photos!
