Nadi made a Christmas hat for a competition and a card for a family member. Aren't they fabulous?

Tissue Paper Flowers
Due to the worsening situation with regards to Covid, we have decided to revert to Skype meetings for the time being. To try to make our Skype get togethers a bit more interesting, we're going to try to suggest projects we can all do during and after the call. This is harder than doing things during a face-to-face meeting, as it's hard to see the screen detail during a call, and we can't easily share equipment and supplies. So, the first project was to try to make tissue paper flowers.
These can be made with or without a stem depending on the intended use, and are surprisingly effective as you will see from the photos!

Inky Greetings Cards
Our meeting at the start of December was all about making greetings cards using ink, stencils and stamps. I know my fingers were inky at the end of the session, and I suspect I wasn't the only one!

Dorset Buttons
Adrienne led a session this week on Dorset Buttons. I suspect many of us had never heard of them, but we had a go and were very pleased with the results.

We used rings supplied by Adrienne and a mixture of yarn and embroidery cotton to complete the designs.
